Congratulations to the one and only Phoebe Rowberry who will hit her milestone of 50 Senior Club Games this Sunday when the girls take on Uraidla.
A hard worker, a leader, and an inspiration for all of the girls on the park, we are all very excited for her for making it this far – and beyond.
Her passion for womens sport has driven our very own female program at the Devils. In conjunction with her mate Shaun they propositioned the committee and pushed the numbers and made our very first team (which she played in) in 2016, and Phoebe only went on from there – SANFLW, our first female A Grade Coach, the list goes on..
It’s going to be a huge weekend at Arkaba Oval, with home games all day Saturday, from U9s to our Senior Men, and our Girls/Women’s teams all playing at home on Sunday!
There are juniors/seniors matches scheduled at the oval from 8.45am to 5pm Saturday, and 8.30am to 3.10pm Sunday.
Most of our Moddies teams are playing at either Arkaba Oval or at Stirling Oval on Friday night/Saturday, so there are plenty of Lofty teams to cheer on locally this weekend.
In the Mt Lofty Toyota Raffle Teams Competition, the U13 Girls are leading with $280 worth of tickets sold, followed by the U15 Girls on $170, the U11 Reds on $75 and the U11 Whites, U8 Blacks, and U10s all on $50. The U12 Boys and the U18 Boys have sold $25, the U9 Greens have sold $20 and the U9 Whites have sold $5. All other teams are yet to sell a ticket via their unique link.
This year we created unique ticket links for each of our teams, and the team that sells the most tickets will win a $200 voucher to spend at the Aldgate Pump Hotel!
There are AMAZING prizes up for grabs in the Toyota Good 4 Footy Raffle including three cars, AFL player coaching clinics and other ‘money can’t buy’ experiences.
All money raised through our Mt Lofty links will go towards a NEW DIGITAL SCOREBOARD for the club!
It’s a huge weekend at Arkaba Oval ahead, with lots of our teams playing at home, including our Senior Men on Saturday and Senior Women on Sunday.
Most of our Moddies teams are playing away at various grounds, but a highlight is our U9 Reds taking on Echunga on Arkaba Oval after the Senior Men on Saturday.
Meanwhile, all of our SANFL Juniors girls teams are playing away this week.
