Club Heritage

The Mount Lofty District Football Club was formed in 1978 through the amalgamation of neighbouring clubs, Heathfield Aldgate United and Stirling. Throughout many decades prior to that, there had been several clubs in the area which had ceased to exist or had amalgamated โ€“ Aldgate, Crafers, Heathfield and Upper Sturt.

The familyโ€™s conviction to Mt Lofty has certainly been very strong through Lynton, Margaret, Chris and Lyntonโ€™s sister Helen Hewitt and a family connection with Charlie Ness having played juniors with Mt Lofty.
