📣 Calling all devils supporters, players and parents to join in the festivities of the Stirling Christmas Pageant. We are looking for people to come along dressed in their players uniforms and red and white santa hat. You will need to arrive at the float which will be located on Druids Ave Stirling, no later than 10.30am on Sunday 7th Dec. Parents are more than welcome to dress in a red/white theme and walk with their kids. 🌲
Looking forward to seeing as many as possible there to promote our great club. 🔥

Since February, your Grand Final Committee has been hard at work bringing together the biggest event on the football calendar – the 2025 HFL Grand Final on Saturday 20 September.
Now, as we reach the final stages of planning, we need your help to make the day a success. We’re calling for volunteers to assist on Grand Final day. There’s every chance we’ll see Lofty teams on the field, so rosters have been designed around when teams are likely to play.
That said, please don’t feel locked into specific times – encourage players, parents and supporters to sign up wherever it best fits.

Why volunteer?
- Free entry to the Grand Final (the HFL manages the gate on the day).
- A front-row role on one of the most exciting days of the season.
- The satisfaction of supporting a huge fundraising opportunity – proceeds will help us bridge the gap needed to upgrade our oval lights to LED by season 2026.
We’ve got an incredible day planned, including half-time and post-game entertainment, so it promises to be a memorable celebration of football and community.

We are incredibly proud to share that Heathfield Oval has been selected to host the 2025 Hills Football League Grand Final on Saturday 20 September.
This is a major milestone for our club – a testament to our facilities, community spirit, and the ongoing efforts of our volunteers and committee members. Hosting the Grand Final is both an honour and a significant opportunity for the Mount Lofty District Football Club.
What this means for our club
The Grand Final will bring a large influx of players, families, and supporters from across the Hills region to our home ground. With this comes a tremendous opportunity to generate meaningful revenue to support club operations, infrastructure improvements, and continued investment in our junior and senior programs. It also allows us to showcase our club’s professionalism and hospitality to the wider community.
How you can help
To make this event a success, we will need a large number of volunteers throughout the day. Key areas where your help will make a big difference include:
- Upstairs Arkaba Clubhouse Function: A seated hospitality event requiring, servers, bar attendants and setup/pack-down teams.
- Two BBQ Areas:
- Our standard game-day BBQ on the concourse.
- An additional BBQ at the southern end of the ground to cater for crowd overflow.
- Two Bar Areas: Staff and RSA-qualified volunteers will be needed to assist with bar operations at multiple locations.
Whether you can spare an hour or a few, we welcome all levels of support – every bit counts. Rosters will be set up soon, and we encourage you to register your interest early.
Benefits of hosting the Grand Final
- Major revenue opportunity: Income from food, beverage, and function sales will be a huge financial boost to our club.
- Profile raising: Hosting a flagship event helps raise our club’s profile across the HFL and builds pride among our members.

We will provide more detailed rosters, roles and event information in the coming weeks, but we wanted to get this on everyone’s radar now.
