A huge congratulations to our U14 Girls who are the SANFL Juniors Div 3 Premiers! They beat Ingle Farm by 33 points in the Grand Final at Broadview on Sunday. Well done girls! You’ve made the club proud.

In HFL finals results, our A Grade men had a tough day on Saturday, suffering two serious injuries in the first quarter to Harry Morbey and Tyson Hone. With a depleted bench, they went down to Uraidla by 32 points, but the boys played their hearts out and get another chance.

Congratulations to our U16 Boys who had a great win against Blackwood in their Qualifying Final on Saturday and will take on Mt Barker in the second Qualifying Final.

Finally, congratulations to our U18 Boys who won their Elimination Final on Sunday against Nairne by 48 points and will take on Onkas in the Semi Final. Our B Grade and U12 Mixed enjoyed a weekend off.

This year under Coach Darren Tidswell and Team Managers Mel Nelson and Renee O’Connor, the girls had a great season and finished off the way they played all year, taking out the big one with a strong team performance! Congrats team 💪💥

The Grand Finals continue for Mt Lofty with our U14 Girls taking on Ingle Farm at Broadview Oval on Sunday morning. Our girls haven’t lost to Ingle Farm all season, so they’re in with a red hot chance. Good luck girls!

Finals action kicks off in the HFL, with our U16s taking on Blackwood and our A Grade talking on Uraidla in Qualifying Finals on Saturday at Nairne. Then our U18s face Nairne in an Elimination Final at Mt Barker on Sunday. Get around them Devils army!

Our B Grade will enjoy a weekend off, having finished top, and our U12s are also enjoying a weekend off – they’re preparing for their Grand Final next weekend.

Researchers from UniSA (including a member of the Devils family) are running a survey to better understand knowledge, attitudes, confidence, and practices around recognising and managing concussion in Junior Australian Rules Football.

The survey is open to people over 18 who are either:

  • A parent of a child playing junior footy (15 years or younger), or
  • Involved in junior footy as staff or a volunteer,

The lead researcher is Hunter Bennett, a past Mt Lofty player and senior Lecturer in Exercise and Sport Science at UniSA. Members of Hunter’s family are MLDFC Life Members.

Hunter would greatly value your input. Your insights will help improve concussion awareness and management in community sport.
