All roads lead to Heathfield Oval on Saturday, with our first home game of the season – and it’s going to be massive!
The Devils V Demons action begins at 8.45am with our U14s, rolling through our U16s, U18s, B Grade and A Grade. Then our U12s will take the field at 4.50pm. Head inside the Arkaba Clubhouse after the footy for a meal and free live music from Tony Barber!
Then on Sunday, it’s Round 1 of the SANFL Juniors comp with our U14 Girls taking on Gepps Cross away at 12.20pm and our U12 Girls taking on Brighton away at 2.10pm.
Then head back to Heathfield Oval for Round 1 of the new HFL C Grade comp, with our men taking on Uraidla at 3pm.
Finally, it’s R3 of the HFLW with our undefeated Senior Women taking on Uraidla at Balhannah at 1.30pm, while our U17 Girls have a bye.
See the fixture graphic or PlayHQ for all the details.
Forget Gather Round, HFL footy is back this weekend! We’re heading to Lobethal on Saturday for a huge day of Hills footy, starting with our U14s at 8.45am and finishing with our A Grade at 2.30pm. Then on Sunday, our girls head to Macclesfield, with our U17s taking on Mt Barker at 12pm and our Senior Women taking on Maccy at 1.30pm.
Thanks to KX Pilates, our Game Day Sponsor for the weekend.
FYI, our C Grade, U12s, SANFL Juniors and Moddies don’t start for a few more weeks: keep an eye on PlayHQ for all the fixture details.
Meanwhile, meals are back on at the club on Thursdays and Saturdays from 5pm. See you there!
Another great coaches night during the week, where your Devils Coaches went through all the in’s and out’s of season 2025, and had a great session with our SANFL rep, setting them up up for success.
The Mt Lofty Football Club is excited to announce Brad Tosold as our B Grade Coach for the 2025 season.
In doing so, we would like to thank Dave Giles as the out going B Grade coach for all of his time and dedication over the last two seasons in this role. He has certainly brought his own flare to the team. We are excited to keep Gilesy’s expertise within the club for other roles in 2025.
Brad has spent the past two years as an assistant coach alongside Michael Bawden with our A Grade team, bringing valuable insights and experience to the role.
With decades of senior-level football experience under his belt, Brad’s impressive playing career includes SANFL reserves, as well as stints in Division 1 and 2 leagues in Adelaide and various Country Leagues.
For the upcoming season, Brad’s primary focus will be on fostering a team culture that values cohesion, collaboration, and mutual enjoyment of the game. He aims to build a positive environment and provide constructive feedback to help players elevate their performance.
Additionally, Brad is committed to nurturing the next generation of senior players transitioning from the U18s, equipping them with the skills and foundations needed for long-term success at Mt Lofty. At the same time, he will continue to support and develop our current B Grade players.
We look forward to seeing the impact of Brad’s leadership in the 2025 season and beyond.
Congratulations to Archer Bawden who ran out on Sunday’s Semi Final for his 50th A Grade match for the Devils V Mt Barker at Echunga.
Boogie Bawden played his junior years at Mt Lofty before finding his way down the hill including two years in U18s at Sturt.
Archer is hard as nails, gets thrown in all positions and can dance around his opposition like Torvill and Dean. Throwing himself on the line every match, he gives 100% behind the scenes too. There really isn’t much he cant do.
We are super proud to have Archer as one of our own.
Congratulations on your 50 mate, give ‘em Hell out there
