We’re at the pointy end of the season, with HFLW finals in full swing, and three rounds left in the HFL season before finals hit. We need the Devils’ army in Mt Barker on Sunday to cheer on our U17 Girls taking on the Barker Roos in a Qualifying Final at 12pm, followed by our Senior Women taking on Hahndorf in a must-win Semi Final at 1.30pm.
But first, head to Hahndorf Oval on Friday night and Saturday to cheer on our U12s Friday, and then our U14s, U16s, U18s, B Grade and A Grade on Saturday, in what are bound to be some cracking games of footy. Finally, our U14 Girls and B Grade are playing at home on Sunday, so if you can’t make it to Mt Barker, head to Heathfield Oval.

It was a sunny weekend of footy for our teams, in contrast to last weekend. Our Senior Women faced a tough Onkas team in a qualifying final on Sunday and went down by 35 points. They have another chance next weekend, so their finals dreams are still alive.
Our U14 Girls had a good win against Modbury and are sitting top of the table with one minor round to go in the SANFL Juniors comp.
Our C Grade men also had a good win against Milang on Sunday. It was a split round for the HLF, and there were no Mt Lofty games on Saturday. And our Moddies’ teams were back after games being postponed last weekend due to the weather.

It’s HFLW finals time! Our Senior Women will take on Onkas in a Qualifying Final at Macclesfield on Sunday at 12.30pm – this time is still TBC, so please keep an eye on PlayHQ. Get out to Maccy on Sunday to support our ladies!
Meanwhile, it’s a split round for the HLF, and there are no Mt Lofty games this Saturday – enjoy the weekend off.
Other games this weekend are our U12 Mixed taking on Echunga at Echunga on Friday night, our C Grade taking on Milang at Milang on Sunday, our U12 Girls taking on Walkerville at home on Sunday, and our U14 Girls taking on Ingle Farm away on Sunday. Our U17 Girls have a bye – enjoy!

It was a wet and muddy weekend of football at Mt Lofty, but that didn’t stop the Devils. Our As and Bs both had good wins against Blackwood, as did our U17 Girls. Our Senior Women showed great resilience against a tough Blackwood team but couldn’t get the win in heavy rain on Friday night, in the last minor round of the HFLW season. It will be all action at Heathfield again this weekend, with games at home from Friday night to Sunday afternoon. Our Senior Women kick things off on Friday night in their last minor round game against Blackwood. Then our boys take on the Woods on Saturday, from 8.45am and finishing with our A Grade men at 2.30pm.
On Sunday, it’s a girls’ footy festival with our U12 Girls, U17 Girls and U14 Girls all playing at home. Matches start at 10.40am. Our C Grade men have a rest this weekend and our U12 Mixed are away at Echunga on Friday night.
It was a huge weekend of football at Mt Lofty, with plenty of wins to celebrate, including our As, Bs, U18s, U17 Girls, U16s and U14 Girls. With one minor round left in the HFLW fixture, our Senior Women and U17 Girls are both looking solid for finals, with our U17 Girls still sitting top of the ladder.
