Congratulations to Bruno Hone who ran out at the Devil Dome on Saturday against Nairne for his 50th A Grade match.
Bruno started his junior at Mt Barker before coming to the Devils with the rest of the Hone clan, and weren’t we lucky. Bruno then spent some time at Sturt juniors and away before returning home last year. Marking 50 A Grade matches for Bruno, we got to see some of his trademark silky skills up forward.
Congratulations to Jack Read who ran out at the Devil Dome on Saturday against Nairne for his 50th Senior match.
A hard working, reliable backman that has been wearing the candy stripes since junior colts, Jack is the teammate every club wants. Always great at reading the play and being in the best spot to be a part of the cracker back 6 we have.
Congratulations to Laycee Dawson, who headed out to Blackwood on Sunday against for her 100th Senior match.Having played for Mt Lofty Women’s since our inception in 2016, Laycee will be the club’s first female to play 100 club senior matches. Laycee also played in our first junior female season of U18s in 2017 whilst also playing up in seniors. She is constantly giving back to the club, having coached U17 girls, helped at junior trainings and Auskick and helping with functions. We are super lucky to have Laycee as part of the Devils family. Congratulations Laycee, always giving ‘em Hell out there mate 🔥
Congratulations to Max Bawden, who headed out to Blackwood on Saturday for his 50th A Grade match.
Quiet by nature, but when that footy is in his hand Max goes hard as Hell. Having played juniors at Mt Lofty, Max first played A Grade as an U18 in 2018, before heading to Sturt and playing a year at Pembroke OS. We were very excited to see Max come back home in 2022 and make his mark at Mt Lofty. Always giving back to the club in every way, we couldn’t be luckier to have Max at the Devils.
Congratulations Max, always giving ‘em Hell out there mate
