Congratulations to Alex Weeks who ran out on a windy day at Uraidla on Saturday for his 250th A Grade match for the Devils.

Playing for Mt Lofty since U8s, this past Premiership player, past A Grade Captain and now through his business, a Major Sponsor of the Football Club, he is a genuine gem and we are absolutely honoured to have him as a part of Mt Lofty District Football Club.

Weeksy has played every one of his football games for the Devils. You will mostly see him going hammer and tongs in the midfield or at the bottom of a pack with his head over the ball. He is an inspiration to our up-and-coming Devils aspiring to top level hills footy.

50 CLUB A GRADE GAMES | WILL SHERMAN

Congratulations to Will Sherman who ran out at Uraidla on Saturday for his 50th A Grade match for the Devils.

Playing for the Mt Lofty since Junior Colts, Will honed his skills in 2021 playing a season with North Adelaide’s U18 team before returning home.

Sherm has become an integral part of the Devils defence, containing his man and continually pushing the ball forward. Keep an eye out for the flowing locks of the Shermanator.

50 A GRADE CLUB GAMES | BRUNO HONE

Congratulations to Bruno Hone who ran out at the Devil Dome on Saturday against Nairne for his 50th A Grade match.

Bruno started his junior at Mt Barker before coming to the Devils with the rest of the Hone clan, and weren’t we lucky. Bruno then spent some time at Sturt juniors and away before returning home last year. Marking 50 A Grade matches for Bruno, we got to see some of his trademark silky skills up forward.
