Help us raise the extra funds required for our new digital scoreboard by racing a horse with the Hayes family and Aaron Bain Racing!
We are going to be racing shares in two horses at Angaston Park, the new home of Aaron Bain Racing previously known at Lindsay Park, established by the late Colin Hayes.
Each 5% share (2.5% in each horse) will cost $2,000 + GST with half the funds raised being donated to the Mount Lofty District Football Club (20 shares available). There are also 10% shares available.
We will be racing a 2YO by Encryption out of the stakes placed mare Miss Beneteau (we can name her!) along with a 3YO by Sir Prancealot out of the well-related mare Lobster.
Ongoing training costs will your responsibility going forward (circa $60 per week per 5%)… and any prizemoney will also be yours, unless you want to donate some of that to the club!
It’s finally arrived – the HFL Grand Final! Head to Mt Barker Oval on Saturday for an action-packed day, featuring our U18s taking on Blackwood at 11am!
Other Grand Final clashes are U14: Mt Barker V Hahndorf 8.30am, B Grade: Hahndorf V Echunga 12.40pm and A Grade: Hahndorf V Nairne Bremer at 2.30pm.
Devils family, we need you in droves at Mt Barker on Saturday, in full voice and Mt Lofty merch, to help our boys reach their ultimate goal: the 2024 premiership.
Grand Final details:
Gates open at 7am.
No alcohol to be brought into the ground.
Adults $12 entry.
No dogs allowed.

There will be a single point of access to the ground on Alexandrina Road and the exit will be onto Wellington Road and traffic within the ground will be single direction.
There is overflow parking available at Keith Stephenson Park including in the paddock space next to the gravel carpark and further parking available at Mount Barker High School.
Players/volunteers – please allow plenty of time in advance of games in the event of potential traffic congestion.
A huge congratulations to our U18s who booked themselves a spot in the big dance next Saturday with a 16 point victory over Uraidla in the prelim final! They’ll take on Blackwood in the GF at Mt Barker.
Sadly, our A Grade men were overpowered by the Rams on Saturday and their season has come to an end. They played a fantastic first quarter, but Nairne were too strong. Congratulations on making the prelim final boys.
Our U14s have also bowed out of the finals, going down to Hahndorf by 6 points in the prelim. Well done on a fantastic season!

Bring out your red and white: three Devils teams have made it through to the Preliminary Final on Saturday!
Our A Grade will take on Nairne Bremer at 2.30pm at Balhannah Oval, securing their spot in a thrilling come-from-behind win over Mt Barker on Sunday. This is sure to be another nail-biter so be there!
Before that headline match, our U18s take on Uraidla at 11am and our U14s take on Hahndorf at 8.30pm. With grand final spots on the line, we need the Devils army in Balhannah in a sea of red and white.
It was a mostly successful day out at Echunga today for the Devs, headlined by our A Grade coming from behind in a thriller to beat Mt Barker, and secure a spot in the preliminary final on Saturday.
Meanwhile, our U18s and U14s both recorded solid wins to go through to the next round. Our U16s were defeated by Onka Valley by 26 points which means their season is over. Well done Devs, you’ve made us proud.
