Are you interested in learning basic sports trainer skills? The South Australian Sports Medicine Association (SASMA) is offering a Level 1 Sports Trainer course, which can teach club volunteers how to help athletes in the prevention of injuries and provide initial sports injury management. Level 1 Sports Trainers work at sporting clubs, school sports days, national and international events.
If you commit to one of the Mt Lofty Devils teams as a Sports Trainer for a minimum of one full season Club will reimburse the cost of this course and your Senior First Aid certificate.
Registrations for the above course will close at 5pm on Friday the 19th of March. The Mt Lofty Devils club will reimburse the cost of the course for those who commit to becoming trainers at the club.
A list of other upcoming Level 1 Course dates and times can be found on the SAMSA website: https://www.sasma.com.au/

The club has worked hard to ensure a maximum of four teams on the oval at any one time. When that is the case – for example, on Thursday nights between 5 and 6.30pm – Heathfield High’s oval will be booked as a back-up for full ground activities.
The club encourages coaches to work together to share oval space, to ensure all teams get the most out of their training sessions.
