The MLDFC is seeking expressions of interest for a Senior Women’s Coach for season 2024.
The role is responsible for leading the women’s football program, implementing effective coaching strategies, developing players’ skills and abilities, fostering a positive team culture, promoting the growth and success of the team both on and off the field and developing our Juniors to become Senior footballers within our program and beyond.
The Mt Lofty District Football Club was formed in 1978 through an amalgamation of the Stirling and Heathfield – Aldgate United clubs. Our home today is Arkaba Oval, Heathfield. Our club consists of 21 teams playing in both the Hills Football League (HFL) and SANFL Juniors with an extensive Male and Female development program. Our teams range in age from U8’s to Senior Mens & Women‘s and we have over 500 playing members and +2,000 supporters. As a consequence, MLDFC is one of the largest and most influential clubs in the Adelaide Hills.
The role is remunerated and will be negotiated dependent on the applicant’s experience.
Three Devils travelled to the Barossa to represent Eastern Zone. Ash Eckermann walked away with a medal around his neck.
Holly Aiston VC and Kate Chapman had a fantastic weekend in the Barossa representing the Devils too, finishing runners up also representing Eastern Zone in the GF (along with some guy known as Bruce Dawes) Amazing work team.
It’s a HFL BYE round so most of our teams are having a well earned rest. Our moddies, our two U12 teams and our SANFL Juniors teams are all playing though, so go and cheer them on if you can.
Our U12 Whites are playing Echunga at home on Friday night at 7pm, while our U12 Reds are playing away at Ironbank at 7pm. Then on Sunday, we have the U13 Girls up first at Henley at 8.30am, followed by the U11 Girls at Broadview at 9.50am and then the U15 Girls at Glenunga at 10.10am.
Check out the action in the fixtures below or on PlayHQ.
