🔴⚪ Big Weekend Ahead! ⚪🔴

🔴⚪ Big Weekend Ahead! ⚪🔴

The business end of the season is here, and we have some huge games coming up across the club this weekend.

🏉 Friday Night Our U12s kick things off in their Elimination Final, taking on Nairne at Bridgewater. It’s win or go home, so let’s get behind the boys as they begin their finals campaign.

🏉 Saturday – End of Minor Round!

The final round of the minor season sees our teams from U14s through to A Grade welcome the Lobethal Tigers to Heathfield. With finals spots and ladder positions on the line, every game is important, including a do-or-die clash for our A Grade side. Make sure you get down and support our players in what promises to be a massive day of football.

🏆 Sunday – GRAND FINAL DAY!

Our U17 Girls have earned their place in the Grand Final and will take on Mt Barker Girls at 12:00pm at Heathfield.

This is the big one, and our girls need all the support they can get. We want to see a sea of red and white in the crowd, so grab your club colours and get out there to cheer them on!

Also in action on Sunday: 🔴 U12 Girls Red vs Blackwood at Camden Park ⚪ U14 Girls vs SMOSH at 1:45pm, West Lakes.

Enjoy a well-earned break this weekend to our U12 Girls White and Super C’s.

Give em Hell Devs! 🔥

1966 Opening of Heathfield Oval

What an event for the community! A lot of red tape and dedication by many community members, eventually the Heathfield Oval was opened!

Fun Fact – Heathfield High School was originally a speedway before it was a school, then an oval. And in 1962 locals gained approval from the government to clear the site of the Heathfield oval and locals literally calved out the Heathfield Oval by hand! 1966 our oval was officially opened and the first footy match played on it’s turf! So while you’re playing, remember the hard work that went into you even having an oval to begin with!

🔴⚪MODDIES PRESENTATION DAY 2026⚪🔴

🔴⚪MODDIES PRESENTATION DAY 2026⚪🔴

The Mt Lofty Devils Football Club is thrilled to invite all players, families and supporters to join us as we celebrate another fantastic season of football!

Presentation Day will be held on Saturday 22 August, coinciding with the final home game as our Senior Men take on Lobethal. It promises to be a fun-filled afternoon of football, team presentations, celebrations and scratch matches as we come together to recognise the achievements of our players and teams throughout the 2026 season.

Team presentations will run from 1:30pm to 4:30pm, with your team’s presentation time to be confirmed shortly.

Presentation & Scratch Match Schedule

🏆 U8s
Presentations will take place before taking centre stage in a scratch match during the A Grade half-time break.

🏆 U9s to U12s
Presentations will be held throughout the A Grade match.

Players will then hit the field for mixed scratch matches following the A Grade game, starting at approximately 4:45pm.

This is a wonderful opportunity for our Friday Night Football players and families to get behind our senior teams, while celebrating the dedication, teamwork and commitment that have made the 2026 season such a success. It’s the perfect way to finish the year together as one club!

🍔 The Burger Bar will be firing up after the scratch matches, and full bar facilities will be available throughout the afternoon, making it a great chance to relax, celebrate and enjoy the Club atmosphere.

🌟Guernsey Return 🌟
Please remember that all playing guernseys must be returned to your Team Manager on Presentation Day.

Club guernseys remain the property of the Mt Lofty Devils Football Club and will be reused next season. Any guernseys not returned will incur a replacement charge, as the club will need to purchase a new one.

We can’t wait to celebrate with you all and finish the season in true Devils style. See you at the Club for what promises to be a fantastic day of football, fun and celebrations! 🔴⚪👹

NATIONAL AWARD | JEFF PISTOLA

NATIONAL AWARD | JEFF PISTOLA

It is with great honour we share Mt Lofty Life Member Jeff Pistola has won the 2026 AFL National Community Football Media Award.

Jeff’s commitments to our club(s) spanned over 37 years including being involved in multiple Premierships plus a rare achievement which was to have coached Mt Lofty at every level from Under 10’s through to A Grade (the only available teams at the time) after which he looked to focussing on building a media team focussing purely on Hills football. This has grown into the CALL OF THE WILD team now know today and I think we all agree is 2nd to none!

The understanding, knowledge of the game and players, along with your passion to bring this to our community is something to be admired.

Congratulations again to Jeff ‘Pistols’ Pistola on this massive award, well deserved mate!
