🔴⚪ Weekend Ahead ⚪🔴

🔴⚪ Weekend Ahead ⚪🔴

Once again, we have a packed weekend of Mt Lofty activity, with plenty of opportunities to get out and support our teams across multiple grounds.

Friday night kicks things off with our U12 mixed team taking on Nairne under lights at Heathfield Oval, with a 7:30pm start. It promises to be a fantastic way to begin the weekend, and it would be great to see a strong crowd come along to cheer the kids on.

Saturday sees us back on home turf as we host not only the Nairne Rams but also our wonderful and valued sponsors. With plenty happening on and off the field, it’s shaping up to be a great day of football. While conditions may be a little wet underfoot, that won’t dampen the spirit—especially for our sponsors, who will be well looked after as a thank you for their continued support.

Sunday rounds out the action with a big day of junior and senior fixtures. At Heathfield Oval, our U12 Red girls take on Brighton at 11:30am, followed later in the afternoon by the Super C’s, who face Nairne at 3pm. Over at Hahndorf Oval, our U16 girls hit the field at 12pm, with the U12 White girls following at 1:30pm. Meanwhile, the U14 girls head down the hill to Urrbrae for an 11:15am matchup against Glenunga. Our Senior Women enjoy a well-earned break this weekend.

Best of luck to all players taking the field—play hard, enjoy the game, and represent the club proudly. And to our supporters, don’t forget to bring your loudest voices as we get behind our teams and cheer Mt Lofty on!

Round 9 Senior Womens Debutants

Round 9 Senior Womens Debutants

What’s better than one Lily? How about 2 Lily’s debuting in the same game!

-LILY SANDLAND-

Congratulations to Lily Sandland on making her Senior debut in the win against Onkas yesterday. Lily has been building her footy resume all year with debuting for Sturt in the Under 18 team. Earning the Captaincy of our under 17 Girls team here at Lofty and then making her Senior Debut 🙂

Lily gave a lot of run and broke line many times on the wing and then had a stint in the midfield in the last where she showed she can win the inside ball as well.

Congrats Lily 👏

-LILY BRADDOCK-

Congratulations to Lily Braddock who made her Senior debut in the win against Onkas yesterday. Lily is a natural at any sport she touches. She demonstrated that yesterday with her maturity, composure and skill in yesterday’s game.

Lily had many moments in defense where she was able to win contest and rebound from defense effectively. Her ability to make good decisions from the get go was incredible.

Lily definitely has a bright future in footy or any other sport she chooses

Congrats Lily 👏
