BMD BURGER DAY |

BMD BURGER DAY |

The taste buds are tingling already! Cheese burgers and slow cooked pulled burgers are on the menu at the footy this Saturday, thanks to Major Sponsor BMD.

Taking over the BBQ at our home game 17 June Mt Lofty v Echunga, the volunteers from BMD will be preparing and cooking burgers for us to enjoy. What a treat. With a limited menu on the day, be ready to get one of the burgers in your hands, and look out for a sneaky pulled pork sub-in to the Devros Packs on the day too..

Be sure to say thanks for the support to our amazing sponsors when you see them.

THE ADVERTISER TOP 40 | HFL

THE ADVERTISER TOP 40 | HFL

The Advertiser has named its HFL top 40 Senior Mens Players of the Year across the Central and Country Division. The Devils have come in with 5 mentions.

Well done boys! Keep on giving ‘em Hell

#6 SAM MCTAGGART
Returning to his junior club after time with North Adelaide in U16s, U18s and Reserves level, McTaggart has helped the Devils to become one of the HFL’s top sides in 2023.
A running machine who has the ability to find plenty of the footy and consistently hit targets, McTaggart has tallied six best player nods and three goals so far this year.
Also represented the league in its association game against the River Murray FL.

#11 ASH ECKERMANN
Vice-captain for Mount Lofty and the captain of this year’s HFL association side, Eckeramann’s contribution to his club’s season so far has been huge.
A triple A Grade premiership player for Hahndorf, Eckermann is a strong utility who can play almost any position who applies strong tackles and has a damaging kick.
Has tree best player performances and two goals in eight games so far.

#15 ARCHER BAWDEN
Another dominant backman for Mount Lofty, Bawden has been among the club’s best in nearly every game he has played this year.
With the ability to read the play as well as anyone and cut off a number of attacks with strong intercept marking skills, Bawden has proved integral to the Devils’ success so far in 2023.
Has been named among their best in six of his eight games.

#18 NICK THOMSON
One of the best key defenders in the Hills FL, Thomson’s continued improvement for Mount Lofty has seen the club leap into a top three position on the ladder.
A strong one-on-one player who has no issue sitting on some of the biggest attacking threats in the competition and competes well in the air and at ground level.
Has been named among the Devils’ best in five of his eight games.

#29 JOSH SYKES
A proven goalkicker across a number of seasons of senior footy, Sykes has been a force up front for the Devils in season 2023 so far.
The former division one player for Athelstone and Salisbury North has booted 22 goals to go along with his three best player nods in six games.
Brilliant on the lead and an efficient set-shot taker, Sykes is currently Lofty’s leading goal kicker.

*Notes on players as seen in The Advertiser.
