As Devils, we not just to celebrate excellence on the field, but to honour the heart and soul behind the scenes, the people who make our club what it truly is. This year, we are incredibly proud to present the 2025 Frank Clements Club Person of the Year award to someone who embodies dedication, humility, and quiet leadership. The award this year presented on Senior Presentation Night by by Jodie Catt – Granddaughter of Frank Clements.

After years of playing at the penultimate level, Brad Burch stepped back to B Grade this year, and to give more time to family, resulting in the ultimate reward in another Premiership for Bradley Burch.

He took on a mentoring role with our B Grade and many junior teams, across both the men’s and women’s sides, offering guidance, sharing knowledge, and leading by example. And when he’s not mentoring, he’s volunteering, off the clock, without fanfare, and always with the club’s best interests at heart.

Brad has also been instrumental in maintaining the heartbeat of our game, our beautiful Heathfield Oval. Alongside the grounds team, he’s put in countless hours of his own time to ensure that our playing surface is the best it’s ever been. If you’ve admired the deck this season, you’ve seen Brad’s work in action.

When voting opened for this year’s award, the result was as clear as the grass is green. It was unanimous. Because when someone gives this much of themselves, not for accolades, but for the love of the game and the people in it, it doesn’t go unnoticed.

We congratulate a true clubman, a mentor, a tireless volunteer, and a deserving recipient of the 2025 Frank Clements We congratulate a true clubman, a mentor, a tireless volunteer, and a deserving recipient of the 2025 Frank Clements Club Person of the Year, Brad Burch!
