With all five teams in the HFL finals, it’s time to plan your weekend!
The action kicks off on Saturday at Hahndorf Oval with Qualifying Finals. First, our U14 Boys take on Hahndorf at 8.30am, followed by our U16 Boys V Mt Barker at 9.40am, then our U18 Boys will face Uraidla at 11am, and finally our A Grade are playing Nairne Bremer at 2.30pm. All teams have the double chance.
Then finals action continues on Sunday with Elimination Finals at Heathfield Oval. Our Bs are playing Blackwood at 12.40 and we need the Devils army in a sea of red and white to get them over the line.
Taking it right up to Blackwood Green in the Grand Final on Sunday in proper footy weather conditions, we are SO proud of our Devils in the Grand Final today and their entire season.
Having played last years Premier’s three times during the season and again during the finals, the most recent being s a 7 goal difference (similar to our 2023 GF result) , we came within 4 points on Sunday. What an achievement! Our Candy Stripers put up a serious fight in true Devil spirit.

The HFLW Grand Final was a thrilling day of footy at Nairne, with our U17 Girls and Senior Women both playing in nailbiters. A huge congratulations to our U17 Girls – 2024 PREMIERS – with a 6 point win over Uraidla! A big congratulations also to our Senior Women who gave it their all and went down by just 4 points to Blackwood Green. You made us so proud.
Meanwhile, it was a successful day at Echunga, with our As, 18s, 16s and 14s all recording good wins in the last minor round. Our Bs went down but retained 5th position and will play finals footy on Sunday. All other teams will play qualifying finals on Saturday. See you on the weekend Devs fans!
