Last Thursday the Sturt Football Club Inc. – SANFL ran a 9-a side all girls carnival encouraging junior girls’ participation in the Adelaide Hills region.
A group of passionate Mount Lofty footballers assisted with the carnival by umpiring all of the games. Thanks to Farah Watson, Paquita Wundke, Madeline Nuss, Julia Mazzacano D’Amato, Georgina Cordes-Harvey, Oscar Finnis, Ben McArthur, and Hamish Illman for assisting with the event.

It was another weekend of warm and sunny footy at Heathfield Oval. Congratulations to our female teams who all won on Sunday in what was a big day of women’s football at home. It wasn’t quite as successful for our men’s teams with only our U18s getting the better of Mt Barker.

Congratulations to club champ, Nick Thomson, who will run around the Devil Dome on Saturday against Mt Barker for his 100th A Grade match.
Our mate Fabio, the full back with the iron fist and the flying mullet, is a passionate club man who gives everything he has on the field and off.
We are truly lucky to have you at the Devils Thomo, give ‘em Hell out there mate 
It’s non-stop action at Heathfield Oval this weekend, with games from Friday night to Sunday afternoon.
First head to the Devils Dome at 7pm on Friday for our U12s, then get to the ground early on Saturday to cheer on our boys as they take on Mt Barker all day, starting with our U14s and finishing with our A Grade Men.
On Sunday the action kicks off at 8.30am with our U12 Girls, followed by our U14 Girls, our U17 Girls and finishing with our Senior Women at 1.30pm.
And don’t forget it’s our big club event, the Chairman’s Lunch on Saturday at the Arkaba Clubhouse, Heathfield Oval. Catered by the Aldgate Pump Hotel, the lunch will feature guest speaker Julian Burton. Last tickets on sale now.

Devils 100 Club kicks off this weekend and it’s not too late to join – we have just 18 tickets remaining!
100 Club membership is $100 and there are 16 draws over the season, with a first prize of $100 and a second prize of $50. Then at the end of the season, we do the major draw, with a first prize of $1500, a second prize of $800 and a third prize of $300.
