LIFE MEMBER COIN TOSS | CLIFF CHAPLIN

LIFE MEMBER COIN TOSS | CLIFF CHAPLIN

Cliff Chaplin is being celebrated today as he does us the honor of tossing the coin for the A Grade game against Uraidla.

At 97 years of age he is one of our oldest Life Members and was awarded Life Member status in the 1976.

An original Heathfield Football Club player who spent much of his playing career in the B Grade and coaching our Under 14’s, before moving into extended service as our A Grade Goal Umpire.

We all thank you for your service Cliff.

100 SENIOR GAMES | CONNOR MILDE

100 SENIOR GAMES | CONNOR MILDE

Congratulations to our home grown Connor Milde who will hit a ton this weekend as he runs out against Uraidla on Saturday marking 100 Senior Club Games for the young Devil.

A nifty, quick moving forward, who moves around the front 50 with ease and can snap a quick snag like no other, Connor has stepped into the role this year as a leading goal kicker as smoothly as a pair of traidies on the Honey Badger.

He has been around the Devs since he was knee high to a grass hopper, always turning down a lolly and a can of pop to do the score board or water for the seniors, just to be around the boys and amongst the action 👹

Looking forward to the next ton Connor, give ‘em Hell mate.

50 SENIOR GAMES | PHOEBE ROWBERRY

50 SENIOR GAMES | PHOEBE ROWBERRY

Congratulations to the one and only Phoebe Rowberry who will hit her milestone of 50 Senior Club Games this Sunday when the girls take on Uraidla.

A hard worker, a leader, and an inspiration for all of the girls on the park, we are all very excited for her for making it this far – and beyond.

Her passion for womens sport has driven our very own female program at the Devils. In conjunction with her mate Shaun they propositioned the committee and pushed the numbers and made our very first team (which she played in) in 2016, and Phoebe only went on from there – SANFLW, our first female A Grade Coach, the list goes on..

Good Luck on Sunday Phoebs, give ‘em Hell!
