The HFL is running a free coach and umpire development session focused on moddies on Monday 15 March and Wednesday 17 March.
This session will provide you with:
- Clarity on ‘modified’ match rules and their interpretation
- Support on how to manage difficult situations and behaviours
- Greater understanding on coaching and communicating with kids and their parents
- Strategies to increase player enjoyment and engagement
- Understanding the HFL approach to coaching and umpiring modified aged players.
Presented by: David Threadgold, ORSR Project Lead Coach Developer; UniSA Health and PE Lecturer; Football parent and volunteer coach. Supported by SANFL Game Development Coordinator Mitchell Noye.
Coaches attending this session will be allocated 4 coach development points toward their coaching accreditation.
