Club Heritage
The Mount Lofty District Football Club was formed in 1978 through the amalgamation of neighbouring clubs, Heathfield Aldgate United and Stirling. Throughout many decades prior to that, there had been several clubs in the area which had ceased to exist or had amalgamated – Aldgate, Crafers, Heathfield and Upper Sturt.

| VALE PETER “BARNEY” ALLEN |
Peter “Barney” Allen, one of Heathfield Aldgate United’s great players, has sadly passed away at just 66. Never without a smile, Barney was an extremely popular and dedicated clubman. As a tough “no nonsense” defender, his record is quite incredible from the amazing HAU era.

VALE LORRAINE PAWLAK (NEE HAMPTON)
It is with much sadness that we advise the passing of one of the club and local community’s most dedicated members, Lorraine Pawlak (nee Hampton)
