Home grown talent Alex Weeks rose to champion status this weekend as he marks his 250th senior game both for the Devils and all round.

Having played for the club since day dot, Alex has never given anything but 110%. To this day as one of the oldest in our senior ranks, Alex is leading the way as our captain and is still giving it his all every match with 250 games under his belt.

A hard working and extremely tough mid fielder, Alex leads the way with courage, determination and discipline. An inspiration for all of our young Devils to aspire to.

Alex has secured 3 Premierships in his time, ’07 Bs, ’08 As, ’14 As (D2) we can’t wait to see what is in store for him in the future.

Uncompromising for all this time mate, we thank you for choosing the Devils to be your home.

The match:
A great day at Lobethal as the boys lifted to the occasion to play for Weeksy. Not a single on field spectator for the day, everyone thew their all into the match and played like our captain in honour of his special day, securing an 18.14.122 – 6.5.41 victory over the hosting Tigers and reigning Premiers.
We also came away with a clean sweep for the day with our B Grade and Colts all bringing home the choccies, showing great depth in the clubs prospects.
