Mount Lofty District Football Club has announced an Early Bird Registration discount for all players, offering a $20 saving on their 2023 season fees.
The Early Bird Registration period is open from 28November 2022 until 31 January 2023.
Reminder: when you reach the checkout to claim the early bird $20 discount use the early bird code below in the ‘Vouchers’ field. Also, to claim the sports voucher for 2023 please select “I have a government voucher”.
All South Australian children in Reception to Year 9 are eligible for the SA Government $100 Sports Voucher. This means children aged 5 (or becoming 5 in the calendar year) to 15 years old are eligible. Remember it is one voucher for each eligible child per calendar year. In 2023, eligible children will have a birth year from 2008 to 2018.
In exciting news, the Devs have secured clever Sturt and Blackwood midfield speedster, Kai Tucker for the 2023 season.
Kai played the last two years of his junior footy for the Sturt U18’s before playing for the Blackwood A Grade and Sturt Reserves in 2022. He already has strong connections with a group of our Lofty lads, and we are looking forward to seeing him add more class to our midfield.
Kai has elite speed, runs all day and hits the scoreboard when he goes forward. We are extremely pleased to have Kai on board and look forward to him making us stronger as a club both on and off the field.
The Devs are very pleased to welcome home, former junior Max Biggs. Max played a very successful junior career, including an U13, U15 and two U18 Premierships, before heading down the hill to play school and old collegians footy for PAC. After two years away from the Devs, Max is coming home and is looking great on the training track.
We are looking forward to him making a big impact for the Devs in 2023. Lets see you give ‘em Hell mate.
The Devs are extremely pleased to have former Port and Sturt big man, Riley Grundy on board for the 2023 season.
Riley played his junior footy at Sturt, working his way through the U16s and U18s. In 2018 Riley was also part of the South Australia U18 team that won the AFL National Championship. In the 2018 National Draft, Riley was taken at pick 73 by Port Power, and spent the next two years on the Port list. Riley returned to Sturt after his time at Port, and was part of the 2022 reserves premiership team.
At 195 cm Riley will add a great deal of quality to the Devs big man department. Riley is also an outstanding lad, and will add to our club off field as well.
We are thrilled Riley has chosen the Devs in 2023 and look forward to seeing him in the red and white. Welcome Riley! Give ’em Hell mate.
We are very excited to announce the appointment of our U12 Boys coaches Mark Logan and Jason Cook, coming on for the U12’s in Season 2023.
