A letter from the President and Executive Committee
Dear Members, Supporters and Sponsors.
The MLDFC would like to advise as per the directions of SA Health and the South Australian government all football activities will remain suspended as we head into this 7 day lockdown as of 6pm tonight.
There will be announcements from the SANFL and HFL throughout the day. This unfortunately means the reunion day scheduled for this weekend will now be postponed. We thank all who have been planning this event behind the scenes and we hope we can re-schedule for another day this season. Obviously this will need to be worked through. The club rooms, change rooms will be locked for the duration of the lockdown also.
The executive committee wishes everyone all the best for the next few days. Please look after yourselves, your families and the community in this challenging time.
Please reach out if needed. Regards
Scott Taylor on behalf of the Executive Committee.
To all members, coaches, players, parents and care givers. The Mount Lofty Football Club would like to notify all those above that as of midnight tonight [19.7.21]
ALL TRAININGS Including Thursday Night Meals will be CANCELLED/POSTPONED until further notice as directed by SA Health and the Government. At the moment there is a review of these restrictions scheduled for this coming Friday.
Once any decisions are made, we will quickly get communication out to all teams. I ask for your patience in this uncertain time. Rest assure the committee is working behind the scenes to get all communications out in a timely manner.
Congratulations to this champion of the club, with past Premierships under his belt, and an an amazing mentor to the incoming players this year.

Join in the celebrations of club milestones on Saturday 24 July 2021 from 1pm at Mt Lofty Clubrooms, Arkaba Oval, Heathfield.
Celebrating premierships for 1921 Stirling A Grade (100 years ago!), 1961 Heathfield Senior Colts, 1971 Heathfield Aldgate United A Grade, Senior Colts, Junior Colts and Mini Colts and the 1981 Mt Lofty A Grade (in SAFA and the first senior club premiership).
1961,71,81 were very important premiership milestones in our club history. Firsts for Heathfield, the start of HAU’s A Grade 87-game winning streak (a record held for over 40 years and only recently beaten) and 1981 was another first with the Mt Lofty A Grade Premiership.
